- I have been incredibly frustrated with the focusing problem on the 30D. Testing lenses on my partner's 40D eliminates the lenses as the problem. The focus point on auto-focus is consistantly behind the subject. I have been using the centre focusing point to narrow down where the camera will focus. At times the camera is unable to even find the focus point and seems to "hunt around for it." I'm not comfortable using MF as I'm not sure that the camera will tell me that it really is in focus, if it is that inaccurate with AF.- Ldarter
