Re: GE Spectra XL 44 gas kitchen range. Oven does not...
Sounds like the switch module is defective. You might get lucky if you power down the stove for half an hour and then reapply power. Sometimes they reset. If you, enjoy. If not, you will need that module.

Touch the BROIL HI/LO and BAKE pads
at the same time for 3 seconds until the display shows SF.
Touch the BAKE pad. A two digit number shows
in the display.
Touch BAKE again to alternate between
increasing and decreasing the oven temperature.
The oven temperature can be
adjusted up to (+) 35°F (19°C) hotter or (-) 35°F (19°C) cooler. Touch the
number pads the same way you read them. For example, to change the oven

When you have made the adjustment,
touch the START pad to go back to the time of
day display. Use your oven as you would normally.
You may have 2 problems. One. The temperature sensor could be bad. You can remove the temperature sensor and check it with a ohm meter. It should read 1050 to 1150 ohms. If not. It is bad. Two. The glowbar ignitor could be bad and not igniting the gas safety valve.Open the bottom drawer of the oven and set the oven to bake. The burner should light in 60 seconds or less. Re-light should be about 30 seconds or less. If it takes longer the ignitor is bad.
If you can smell the gas when you turn on the oven, it may be on a separate igniter that has gone bad. I would check this first. If you are not getting gas to the oven, there is possibly an issue with the supply line.
