Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Which is supported ram of transend

motherboards support kind ram ddr3 1333 1600 1866 2133 2400 2600 support 2133 You need to match your motherboard to one of the above clock speeds from your main board manual, some can be safely overclocked, but may fall back to a slower speed based on the cpu speed. for instance ddr 1333 is normal to use, if you use ddr3 1600 or higher the cpu may down clock the ram under certain circumstances such as the load on the cpu running a program. your mb manual should have a page whith all combinations in columns and rows. or go to the mb manufacturing site

How do I increase FSB past its factory preset in my HP Pavilion 515n pc?

Some people, when their computer reaches the point that it can't run the programs it once used to, decide to toss their machine and invest in a new one. Others squeak out some extra life by overclocking their processors. While this is ideally done with hardware, for pre-built HP computers you will have to use a software option. With this minor exception, the process is still a breeze.

Download and install CPU overclocking software, such as ClockGen, SetFSB or SysTool (see Below). http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=189 http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Benchmarks/SetFSB.shtml http://www.techpowerup.com/systool/ While all these programs more or less work the same, for this guide we will be working with ClockGen. Boot the CPU overclocking software. Do not be alarmed if your computer momentarily slows down, as the software is reading your CPU's clock speeds. Click "PLL Control" or the equivalent in your overclocking software. This will show you several sliders for your front-side bus (FSB) and, in many cases, your PCI cards. Adjust the FSB slider. Be sure to do this slowly, as the processor will likely fail if there is a sudden speed change. For best results, use the arrows to slowly adjust the settings by one-to-two megahertz at a time. Click "Apply" frequently to set the speeds. Hope this helps.

Mobo Compatibility and tech/spec variations

All Asus P5GC-MX/1333 mobos are "X-series" boards.

If you put higher speed ram on that mobo, it will just run the ram at lower speeds.

The board will not take 1333 speed DDR3, because it is only DDR2 compatible.

OVerclocking is complicated and risky, here is neither the place to teach or learn overclocking.

Some newer core 2 chips will automatically overclock, when all but 1 core is in hibernation (which will never happen if you are using vista). Other than that overclocking involves setting the bios to increase the memory buss speed, as well as slightly increasing the cpu and ram voltages as needed for stability. There is a great risk associated with manually overclocking and adjusting voltages, and should not be attempted by beginners on machines they value.

Overclocking

Overclocking is set from the BIOS configuration. Not all BIOS allows overclocking, it may need a BIOS upgrade.
Check the ASUS WEB site for your model motherboard.
Overclocking the CPU (ie running at a higher clock speed) and increasing Frontside bus speed will give better performance BUT there is a downside too, if you overclock too high you could overheat the CPU and it could fail.

I have a nvidia geforce 9400 Gt graphics card how can i overclock

Read this...

You're not going to get a lot out of that card, it's pretty stripped down being a 9400. Anyways, download Rivatuner then after it detects your video card it will update your registry which will allow it to manipulate your video card.

You then use it to increase your Memory and Core clocks, and also the shader clock in VERY small steps. Increase it by perhaps 20MHz then try playing the most visually demanding game that you own and play it for like 5 to 10 minutes and watch for anything out of the ordinary. When you've pushed your card too high there are obvious signs, like random pixels flashing across the screen, textures showing up wrong (colours where they shouldn't be), or your game can simply lag or crash.

Also download Speedfan and monitor your GPU temperature closely. See what it idles at normally, then use Rivatuner to increase your fan speed to somewheres around 75% and make sure that the temperatures don't pass 70C.

Overclocking voids warranties and you can damage your graphics card if you push it too hard. You have to be careful and watch for signs that it's being pushed too hard. Also, you have to make sure that you set your clock speeds back to normal when you don't need the extra power. It's easier on your card then running it at 120% or something permanently.

How to get AMD athlon 3700 socket 754 engineering sample cpu run at proper speed

Here's a little history

More advanced stuff
http://compreviews.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=compreviews&cdn=compute&tm=128&gps=215_11_1267_540&f=00&su=p284.9.336.ip_p504.1.336.ip_&tt=2&bt=0&bts=0&zu=http%3A//www.adriansrojakpot.com/Speed_Demonz/BIOS_Guide/BIOS_Guide_Index.htm

Some systems have "bottlenecks," where small overclocking of a component can help realize the full potential of another component to a greater percentage than the limiting hardware is overclocked. For instance, many motherboards with AMD Athlon 64 processors limit the speed of four units of RAM to 333 MHz. However, the memory speed is computed by dividing the processor speed (which is a base number times a CPU multiplier, for instance 1.8 GHz is most likely 9x200 MHz) by a fixed integer such that, at stock speeds, the RAM would run at a clock rate near 333 MHz. Manipulating elements of how the processor speed is set (usually lowering the multiplier), one can often overclock the processor a small amount, around 100-200 MHz (less than 10%), and gain a RAM clock rate of 400 MHz (20% increase), releasing the full potential of the RAM.

AMD also produced x86 designs which competed with Intel on performance rather than price. In January 2002 the Pentium 4 gained a lead in sales and AMD marketing responded by giving their processors numeric suffixes approximating the clock rate that an AMD Thunderbird (and by inference a Pentium processor) would need to give matching performance, openly undermining the "megahertz myth".

Problem in overclocking my Processor.

1: You problem is your power supply, PSU. When you try to give more power to your CPU by overclocking it, it doesn't have enough wattage, or power, to get the CD drive, or your sound card to work. This is why the CD drive works again when the CPU isn't overclocked. So, in this case, to overclock your CPU, you would have to get more power to your system by getting a more powerful PSU, or one with more wattage. How much you can overclock your processor depends on a variety of different things. Your RAM, PSU, HDD, CD drive, etc. I would not go past about 3.4ghz with your processor, however, a "max overclock" is hard to determine.

2: The maximum temp for your processor is 70C, 158F. I would try to keep your temperatures under 60C to ensure your processor doesn't "die early" on you. The multiplier cannot be changed, only the FSB can be changed. You should be able to create a "profile" in bios and set it to your default so that it loads up automatically when you boot up. Make sure you find a stable configuration before you make a default profile.

Overlocked my Intel Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz

You have to go into your bios and see what your front side bus and memmory speeds are. If you overclock you cpu, sometimes you need to underclock your memmory. Say step your memmory down to 333mhz and overclock your front side bus(fsb).
Normally your fsb is 200 and only increase it by mhz. Restart, go into windows. and see if it is stable.

I always use cpu-z and gpu-z to check all of my hardware settings. I use ati tool to overclock my x1950 and it is great. There really isnt any good cpu overclocking tools because its better to do it in the bios.

Do a specific search in google for your processor and overclocking.
