Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
I just got COD4 for the computer and I get this error message when I try to run it:
Error during initialization:
Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.
I'm not really sure if I installed DirectX right. Could it be the problem or do i just need a better graphics card?
The error message you got would show up in the following scenarios:
1. DirectX not up-to-date.
2. Video card drivers old.
3. The game being played with a not supported video card.
Check for the above mentioned and it should be either one of them.
To play the game on the least possible settings your video card has to be or meet the performance capabilities of ATI Radeon 9800Pro or better \ NVIDIA Geforce 6600or better
