Question about Audiovox D1708 Portable DVD Player
The sound is okay but no picture

SOURCE: dvd -no picture
Sometimes the displays can't be sent to another tv or monitor. Make sure that isn't turned on. Sometimes there can be a short in the wiring if your unit folds up to play like a notebook computer. You can try moving the screen back and forth and see if the picture changes. If neither of these solutions work, contact audiovox and see if it is cover under warranty.

Check you cables!
Try a diffrent cable
if all else fails try a diffrent tv if that does not work then you got a bad connector on the mainboard of the output or you got a bad video decoder inside the unit rendaring it useless. I cann see it so I do not know the full details but 9 times out of 10 its the cable or you have it hooked up wroung or your tv is on the wroung input and your sound is on another "happends" so check those vairables and let me know.
