Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF220 Front Load Washer
Could anyone please tell me why our machine is making an incredible racket during spin cycles and a grating sound while washing ? could it be the bearings ? If so is this an inexpensive repair as cannot afford to replace machine nor get ripped off for repairs ? Otherwise the machine appears fine except the last coupla uses it has tripped the fusebox. am putting this down to the excessive strain on machine. Would really appreciate your help on this one
Stop using your machine as it sounds like your bearings have gone completely as you say it also has tripped the fuse twice this is because there is so much play in your drum that it's most likely damabed your heater aswell. This now poses as a SHOCK or FIRE HAZZARD .If the macxhine is over 5 years old buy a new one as this fault will be very expense to repair

Could be your bearings for sure. And if you have been using the machine while the racket continued......you could be ruining you axle as well. So make sure your axle is fine before you change your bearings.......
