I have the same problem. I downloaded songs from Napster but the Curve would not play the music, although the songs are on the Curve itself. If you find a solution, please post it. Thx

Go to the options, then click media card, scroll to Auto Enable Mass Storage and set to prompt. Unplug your BB from USB and plug it back in. It will prompt you with a message "Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? Click yes. Don't click Don't ask this question again. I actually came here to find the solution, then i figured it out. Your "Disk Drive" added will then say Blackberry.

Does everyone have a memory card in the phone? The only way that you will be able to really use the music is if that is in the phone. Second make sure that you have the newest version of bberry desktop manager. And make sure that in your settings that you have it so when you connect your blackberry to the pc it enables mass storage.

Plug your Blackberry with SD card in it to the computer, select yes to turn on mass storage, double click on the drive that it appears on and format card to device defaults. Use Blackberry media sync which you can download free, that is what I did and it worked fine.

My Blackberry curve 8330 doesn't show any of the apps. All I can do is call and text, but I can't receive them. I have error code 523 and I already downloaded the blackberry desktop software, but...

Try connecting to your pc and using the blackberry software to back your phone up then reboot to factory settings. Reboot may erase all of your contacts so make sure you have them all saved to your sim card you will lose your pictures unless you upload them to your pc. If that doesn't work I would take to a ATT store and they can do it for you. They will not save your contacts to your sim. Corporate stores will transfer your phone contacts and whatever else they can save to your sim or a new one. Authorized dealers lack the equipment to switch all of you info to a backup sim.

Music and pictures on blackberry 7250

Transferring media files back and forth between your phone and your computer is quite easy if you download the "Blackberry Desktop Manager" software from Blackberry.com. There is one button on the main screen that will say either "Media" or "Media Manager" when you have the software installed, and will allow you to copy music, songs, files from your computer to the phone or vice-versa. Hint: Always open the BB Desktop Software Manager on your computer first, before connection your phone with a USB cable. Will save you hours of time!

How do i transfer music from pc to bb curve 8300?

You can't put songs that you have bought from apple. You can put songs that you have riped from CD's or downloaded. You need a micro SD card. On the phone go into options: Advance Options, Media Card. Turn mass storage mode on. Now plug your BB into the computer and a little window will open up. open the Blackberry folder then music. Drop and drag your music files into that folder. if your going to use the Desktop software go to google and type: Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.5. This version comes with a media manager. http://crackberry.com/blackberry-desktop-manager-version-4-5-now-available Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Blackberry curve from sprint

I am going to guess that since you can copy some types of media files to your phone then the problem is the format of the video files you want to copy. The phone's media playing application may not show files it cannot recognize.(or show an error message).

If you want to watch videos (or movies) on any type of smart phone or mobile player then I suggest you download a free application called Format Factory. It converts any type of media file to any other type of media file (video, music, pictures, DVDs). It has settings for Blackberry phones, iPods, PsP, etc. Go to: http://www.formatoz.com/ and check it out.

Blackberry curve ringtones

You cannot save a ringtone, picture, or music to a SIM card. Those files get saved to the "hard drive" of the phone. In order to get music into your phone to use as a ringtone, you must either

1. Download through one of those pay for services like Jamster or through t-zones or the like.

2. Use a data connection plan to download from the "mobile net". Sites are free that let you upload your music to an address that you can go to on your mobile web and download to your phone. The phone usually knows where to download the ringtone to on its own. T-mobile's t-zones costs $5.99 a month for the mobile web.

3. Use a USB connector and the media managing software for the phone to transfer the file to your phone. The Motorola RZR uses a software called Motorola Phone Tools to do this. The Blackberry also has its own Blackberry User Tools Software. Usually, the software shows you the "folders" on the phone and one will be called "tones". You put it there and it comes up in your list of ringtones.
