Can't get to voicemail

Recently I am unable to retrieve voicemail messages from my phone. I have to check them using another phone. When it says please enter your password, I do, but then nothing happens. This also happens if I when I dial a # that has an extension, if i try to dial the ext it doesn't work. So I know the keypad works, but in these instances it is not. Any ideas.

- HI, I HAVE THE LG KE 500 AND EVERYTIME I TRY TO CALL MY VIOCE MAIL FROM MY PHONE OR DAIL EXTENSIONS IM AM UNABLE TO.

Change the DTMF found in phone settings (Initial Set-up) to either short or long. When this is set to off, the voicemail cannot pick up the numbers you type.

If you want to check your voicemail on nokia n95, you have to dial your telephone number, it will direct you to your voicemail automatically.

If you're not getting access to your V Mail, you need to reset the phone. It should be under the the Advenced portion of the Security setting. Default code is all (6) zeros.

Try reseting the "keypad tone length" or Tone length. You usually find this option in settings.

It sounds like your DTMF tones are turned off. This would cause automated systems to not recognize the buttons you ae pressing. Go to settings and initial set up and make sure you dtmf tones are set to long.

yeah i had that problem too. its because you do not have the voicemail feature on ur account. so you have to go activate it. just go to your service provider.
