Need to check you fan wires, some have differant colors on the moter for the differant speeds, you may need to change the fan speed by unplugging one of the wires and replacing it with another. hopefully you still have the manuel , check with it first!!!

Dayton heater mod 2yu59 is not heating up?

Need to check the low voltage circuit for 24 volts, the 480 volt to 24 volt transformer may have a circuit protection reset or fuse installed. All the 3 phase electric heaters use a low voltage control circuit for operation of relays (24 volt coils).

Check for loose or disconnected wire especially to the hi-limit switch or fan switch.

My dayton NG heater fan will not shut off properly

Sounds like a bad fan switch. The switch is located on the heat exchanger and is 110 volt bi-metal switch. Follow the wires from the blower going back to the heatexchanger. Graingers can get you a new switch if you give them your model number. www.grainger.com.

Installing a Dayton G73

How many amps is your service? And what gauge wire did you use for the heater?
If your service is only 40amps that is your problem. You don't have enough amps for the heater and the rest of your house, you will have to upgrade your service.
