"phantom flushing" isn't a question. It isn't even a statement. Can you be more specific?

I am experiencing the same problem with the flush valve seal. The valve may be too flimsy or needs to have a lip or ring that fits on the outer edge of the valve opening.

I have the American Standard Champion 4 toilet. Water is leaking from the tank to the bowl causing the toilet to refill. I've replaced the flapper and cleaned the surface the flapper contact. Nothing seems to work.

Our Costco Water Ridge toilet won't flush unless we hold the button down for a while. Sometimes we have to do that twice.

You need to contact the manufacturer of the toilet. If it was recently purchased, there should be a warranty. Otherwise, they can probably tell you what parts are needed to repair it.

I have a push button flush on my toilet but the flush is getting less powerful and we have to wait ages before it will flush again despite the water level filling quickly????

Sounds like the syphon unit has scaled up. You can try flushing with a descaler fluid a couple of times to see if that will loosen the scale but otherwise replace the plastic syphon within the system. Cheap part, relatively easy fix if you know bit about plumbing. Confidence is the key.

Toilet leaks in front of it. have check the water lines to it and no leaks

The wax ring is leaking. Go to a hardware store and they should have one and explain how it works. You will need to pull the toilet though, to replace it.

There are lots of eco friendly toilets and if you have one, this is a common problem. You will have to replace the whole thing.
