Question about Computers & Internet
I have Dell Inspiron E1405 with WInXP SP2 and my DVD RW drive is philips DVD+RW SDVD8820.
When I insert original DVDs or burned data CDs I dont have problem viewing the files in them, but when I insert any different region movie DVDs and also burned movies on a CD -R the drive does not recognise the CD. When I click on the DVD drive in my computer, it opens a window showing the E: drive but its all blank.
I appreciate your help as I also have a Dell Inspiron with the similar problem and unable to find the solution on Dell support forums aswell.
Philips DVD RW SDVD8820 not showing in Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo L7310GW laptop.

It could be upper and lower filters in registry and system files, use a removal tool called filtercheck 4.6 in CDR-zone.com (goto the forums and search for filtercheck)
after you downoad, run it, click yes to all filters found to remove. close program.
reinstall your preferred burning app (1 prog installed at a time and test burn)
this is to replace the filter entry that was corrupt

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
