Question about 2wire HomePortal® 1800HW Router (1000400212000LNR)
I have a 2wire set up by embarq. It is asking for network keys for new PC. They used default. What are those? I can not find
You need to access the router's setup page to get the network key. enter http://192.168.1.254 on the address bar of your web browser. you will be prompted with the router's screen. look for the wireless settings and locate the wireless security and it will prompt you for the network key.
hope this'll help you

Tips for a great answer:
The Default Wep Key is the 10 digit key located on the bottom sticker of the router. It is near the Bar Code. You can also personalize the Network Key by simly accessing the router. I've listed the steps on how to access the router incase the Network Key on the sticker is not working.
