I have a Bosch model number she43m02uc/50... I need to replace the buttons but cant figure out how to do it myself and disassemble the panel.

To remove the control panel on the machine there are a total of 6 screws holding it on. Four screws across the top of the inside of the door and 2 more on the sides.
Once you have removed all the wire connecting plugs from the control unit you should lay the control panel on a towel face down to work on the four clips holding the metal frame onto the plastic control panel. Be careful not to break these clips as they are delicate. Don't force them to move more than they need to disengage. Once the steel frame is removed out of the plastic control panel you should have access to the plastic buttons to replace them.

I can not get my tailgate to unlatch and open. what do i need to do to get it to open?

i had the same problem with my 2002 1500, the problem lies with a clip or both clips being broke under the tail gate latch that you pull on to open it. you can check this by getting a flash light and look up under the latch as you have it pulled up, you will then see if you have a broken clip. chevy dealer has these. to replace the clips you have to remove the square plastic piece around your latch handle, this square piece has 4 plastic tabs 2 on the upper piece of the square in the corners and the low portion of the square has 2 in the corners also, get 2 putty knives and slide one under the bottom half of the square plastic piece 3 quarters of an inch from the corner, then slide another putty knife under the very corner, note cover this knife with tape as it will scratch your paint if not careful. you will hit a plastic tab shove in carefully to disengage the tab, do this on the other side,then you can remove bottom half of plastic trim, then proceed to do the same step on the top of the plastic trim, once this is done then take it off carefully these plastic tabs are fragile! then proceed to look in the area to see which clip is to be replaced, use needle nose pliers to install new clip, just put clip on shaft that has dropped down, this would be the one that has the broke clip. then after installing new clip try your tailgate if it opens, if it does all is well. install your square plastic piece top first, then the bottom until it snaps into place.

How to change front headlight bulb on 2006 mercedes c230 sedan?

Int he back of the headlight, there is a plastic door. You need to open the little door by pressing a tab on the side to snap it off. So look for the tab first. If dust covers then it needs to be cleaned off for better observation. Once the door is open, you will see the a plug with wires attached to it. Pull the plug straightly out. There is a metal clip to hold the bulb in the place of its socket. Look carefully to see where the hook is, so you cant take off the clip from the hook. After the clip is released, the bulb can be easily taken off. Put a new bulb in, put back the clip, put in the plug, close the little plastic cover then you are done. Have fun.

How do you replace the passenger sideview mirror (manual)?

manual locks and windows or electric? if manual, the first thing you need to do is remove the window crank, can be done with window up or down, if you position the handle straight up and push the door panel back you will see a small silver catch pin ( "U" shaped) clipping the handle to the mechanism in the door itself, you can pry it off with a screwdriver but be careful not to bend it. Next look in the arm rest on the door, there should be a removable piece inside, pry that up and remove the screws, next look behind the door handle where the lock is, there is a plastic screw that needs to be undone. remove the cover that the screw holds and put it aside. finally the only thing holding the panel on the door are the plastic clips that you cant see. with a screwdriver start at the bottom and pull the panel loose , you may break a few clips but they can be bought at an auto parts store very inexpensively. once the panel is off, there are 3 nuts that hold the mirror on, remove those and put the new one in. Reverse the process and make sure you push down on all the clips. Hope that helps.

Replacing front headlight bulb . Instructions for

With the hood open, you will see a long flat flexible plastic cover running across the front, above the headlights. It is riveted in with plastic rivets. Hold the outer part of the rivet, and pull up the center part. Then remove the whole rivet. Remove the plastic cover. (When you put it back on, insert the outer part in the hole, then press the center part down into each rivet.)
You will see a sidelamp and headlight assembly. Look down between the sidelamp and headlight, there should be a black plastic clip or latch that holds the side lamp to the headlight. (The clip is down a hole, in the bracket holding the headlight to the body). You will probably need a long screw drive to get down in the hole to release the clip. And maybe a flash light to see down the hole. Put just enough pressure to release the latch, it is plastic, and if you press to hard it could break. Once released the side lamp will pop forward a bit. The sidelamp section can be pulled forward. a bit. However, there is a long plastic part on the Sidelamp Section that slides into a metal hole in the Fender. It will break if you try to pry the sidelamp section out sideways.
Next you will see two top-mounted bolts holding the Headlight Assembly in place which can easily be accessed and removed. Removing the bolts will loosen the entire headlight assembly.
Some instruction say you can remove the headlight and side assembly as a unit. Do not do this! If you try to remove the headlight assembly without detaching the sidelamp you could break either of the lights or the connection assembly.
The Bulb Assembly twists out of the back of the Headlight Assembly, and the bulb can then be replaced. Be careful not to touch the bulb with your hands or with any grease.
Many of the parts are plastic and can break, so do this carefully and patiently. It sounds a little complicated, but once you learn how, the whole job only takes about 20 minutes.

Remove inside door panel on 1995 lesabre

These are not too difficult to remove, you just need to know where the hidden fasteners are. The usual plastic clips hold the panel around the sides and bottom, and need to be gently pried up, ideally with the tool designed for this. At the back of the armrest there is a reflector, a sort of triangle shaped thing, which must be removed, by working a slim screwdriver in at the top, to push down on the clip that holds it. This clip is sort of sawtooth shaped, bends down when installed, and pops back up when in place. When it's out, you'll see a 10mm bolt which secures the door panel to a bracket on the door, looking straight in through the hole. Remove it. The power window switch assembly needs to be removed to access the other two of these lag bolts. There is a spring clip at the front of the switch, you need to work a tool (screwdriver or similar) GENTLY in between the front of the switch and the armrest, and push this clip backward. The front of the switch can be raised, and the switch slides forward and out.There are two bolts holding the panel to a bracket looking down through the opening. After that, it's just the usual clips. Good luck!

I need to replace my radiator where do i start

Find the plastic drain **** at the inside bottom of the radiator. open it and let the water drain out.( 5min )
Loosen all the hoses and the tranny cooling lines.( 30 min )
Find the clips and/or/bolts that hold the plastic fan shroud on and remove them all.( 20 min )
You should see two small brackets at the top of the radiator holding it down, remove these.( 15 min )
Without looking at that exact model of car, I can't be sure of anything else, but at this point you should be able to pretty much lift the rad. up and out.

Cant open bonnet of Ford Focus x reg grill operated key lock wont turn

Stuck lock, bonnet won’t open ,,,
You do not need to drill holes in the grill or pay ford £200+
Look into the grill at the top you will find the bottom of 6 plastic revscrews, 4 you get two via the grill slots use a chisel and cut them off, Then one either end of the grill. Place the chisel between two plastic layers, gently lift , check and cut, one each end.
With a wiggle that’s the top loose, There are two clips holding the bottom in place Put your fingers through the bottom slot in the grill, push down clip and greatly pull the grill, do both sides, It won’t come right out but your aim to loosen it., The lock is held in place in a sleeve with a plastic clips each side, you have push the barrel with a suitable item, this is to push it out of the sleeve and out of its housing, It may need a tap!!
Gently wiggle and pull the grill off

The lock is a ‘lock barrel along a shaft to a white plastic coupling’ this fits in to the ‘bonnet lock’
The security is at the coupling to bonnet lock in the form of a cross shaped plastic key
The key is fitted and held in place in the coupling, and when installed it’s fitted in to the lock, and once it’s in the lock part it will not come out, so therefore any jolt, pull, movement dislodges the plastic key from the coupling side and due to its design it will not slot back in so the lock barrel just rotates
To open you have to apply pressure on the shaft towards the left and into the coupling and turn the key in the lock barrel at the same time in a aim to get the coupling to catch the plastic key (take a few minutes) but it opens in the end if this is the fault, (alternatively remove the two bolts that hold the bonnet catch to the bonnet)
Once bonnet open remove the bonnet lock mechanism, then with draw the lock barrel, shaft, coupling, By looking in side you will understand regarding the cross key
Anyway you need to remove one of the catches from the side of the plastic key This way it will fit back in to coupling.
This is a brief description But the cost to me was 45 minutes, £2 for a pack of plastic rivets / screws, and I cached my bumper with the chisel £5 for a touch up stick Total £7. Well worth the time and effort

Replace the headlight bulb

Remove the plastic access panel by pressing down on the tab at the top of the penel and pulling the top of the panel towards the engine and off. Needle nose pliers may help with the next steps to remove the spring clips. There are 2 bulbs, the top large bulb is the low beam. To remove it, first remove the socket attached to it, then press the top of the metal spring clip towards the front of the car and towards the passenger side (look closely at the clip to see the latch holding it. The clip then swings back towards the engine. Remove the old bulb, install the new bulb, replace the spring clip, re-connect the socket. (Don't touch the bulb, if you do clean it off with a lint free cloth and alcohol). To replace the lower bulb (parking light), remove the socket, then release the lower end of the spring clip, look closely and you'll see the latch holding it. You have to press it towards the front of the car and swing it towards the passenger side. It will swing up and release the bulb. Replace with new bulb, replace spring clip, connect socket. Don't forget to replace the plastic cover panel by inserting the bottom tabs into the sockets and snapping it closed at the top by pressing it towards the front of the car.

Cannot figure how to open top cover

The top of the machine does not open. You have to remove the console to get to the retaining clips that hold the entire case on the frame. If you wish to pursue this follow these steps: 1. Unplug machine. It's best not to have any live voltages when working around the console. 2. Lift console. It will come off in one of two ways depending on what type you have. The end caps on either side of the console are removable on some models by popping them off to the expose a screw on either end. If teh end caps don't come off, you will have a retaining clip holding it in place on each side. With this type, you will need to insert a putty knife (from the FRONT of the console) under each corner and push in to release the retaining clip. 3. Once the console has been lifted from the top, carefully lift up and back to its resting position over the back panel of the machine. Use care when when doing so that you don't break the plastic hinges that hold the console in place. 4. There are two brass-colored clips under the console that you need to remove. Insert a flat screwdriver straight down through the top into a groove in the clip and pry towards the back of the machine. This will release the clip. 5. Once the clips have been removed the entire case comes off as one piece. Make sure you disconnect the lid switch connection on the top of the machine first. This will be a plastic white connector plug. Open lid and place one under the front rim of the case and pull from the back towards you. The case will lift off from the back first and off the frame. 6. Replacing the case is always the tricky part. Looking down through the lid of the case, make sure you place the bottom front lip UNDER the frame first and slowly lower the case on to the frame. There are four cleats the must fit back into slots on the frame before it will seat properly. Also, make sure the back fits back into the casing on both sides or the retaining clips will not go back in properly. Insert the clips into the slot on the back panel first then push down on the opening on top of the washer for them to snap back into place. Now, I don't know if you still want to try to tackle this or not. It does seem like a lot, but it really isn't once you get the procedures down. If it's just a simple matter of cleaning because the washer smells, the odor may be coming from the wash tub itself. Running the machine on empty, with the hottest water cycle you can with a cup of bleach can go a long way towards killing bacteria and mildew. Just another thought to save you a lot of effort.
