Question about RCA 27V530T 27" TV

Problem with the volume

Hi, when I turn on the TV, the volume goes all the way up to the max and it stays like that. Even if I lower it down it will go up again by itself. I tried to use the remote and look in the menus for an answer but every time I go into one menu once again the TV by itself moves the settings It is working like if someone were permanently pushing the up volume button in the TV set. Thanks for your help

Two things can cause the problem your set has,one is the volume up button in the front of the set is pushed in too far and it has the momentary switch active all the time or the cleaning solution you use to clean the face of the tube has dripped down thru the lower edge of the frame into the switches creating a short and making again the switch active all the time.If the cleaning solution went down to the switches they will need to be replaced. If you are familiar with tv service you can remove the back cover and check that the button is not pushed in or it has corrosion built into.If you are not too familiar with tv service be safe and take the set for repair,if they come to your home it will be more expensive. Cannot lower volume on my sony tv 32L5000

The electronic volume control section circuit is faulty. The system control section tries to adjust the volume, by sending command voltage to the volume control section circuit, but this circuit do not accept or process it. Volume goes max and will not lower.

Hello

Please remove the batteries from the remote and check whether it is possible to use the local keypad on the TV? If the volume increases, it may be a problem in the local keyboard.

Hi Manuel

I suppose the problem of your unit is memory, sometimes this problem can be fix by applying service mode, but if not, then memory should be replace and I would advise you to send your unit to service center.

Tv volume goes down of its own accord

Hi,

Some dust in the button to lower the volume on your TV or on your remote control might be causing it to think it's being pressed. Try playing around with it, pressing it hard so as to relieve it of any pressure on the inside.
