LG Dare Camera Start Error

ok here is what i did. opened up the back. took out battery. pushed down(in) really camera lens/flash on back of phone and felt it move back into place. replace batter. turn on. next time i tried camera worked normal again.

OMG!!!!! it worked. i CANNOT believe it!!! thanks a million!!!! so shocked! i have had to replace the phone 2x for this problem.

wow i cant believe it, it actually fixed my camera too thanks everyone pushing down on the lense did work. i was so frustrated with it and now it works thanks again

Specifically, push down on the section that reads '3.2 MEGA PIXALS'; if that doesn't work, take the 6 screws off thet back and push the flash module back in place. It's the little yellowish clear fresnel lens next to the camera lens. It will snap back into place. It's mis-aligned like a fat kid on a teeter totter.

I had the same problem, camera start error. Did a soft reset and all seemed fine. Called Verizon support to see if this would indeed fix it and was told to take it to a Verizon store to have it checked out just to make sure. Took it and it needed the camera software upgraded. Took about 45 minutes, so I left the phone and went shopping. Do this before your warranty expires.
