Wireless router how do I set up my wireless router with Windows Vista

    This is the main problem I think. When I type that in it I just get the message that the page cannot be found.

Access your router with following link

http://192.168.0.1

then type user name:admin
password is:admin or blank

then enable DHCP.then u can get ip automatically.

Running the wizard from the install CD does not find the router and I know the router.modem cables are connected properly... whats next...

Mr814v2 wireless router not working with vista


You may need to update the firmware in the router in order for it to be compatible with windows vista. In the router setting there should be an area to upgrade the routers firmware. If this doesn't work please refer to this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233
