Find someone in your local area that can adjust the laser power level on the DVD drive. This is a temporary solution. A better solution is to buy a new drive off of ebay that is the same one that you have and change the PCB boards so you have the same PCB board in the new case with everything else. To see what drive you have, take the face plate off of the console. Look at the front of the DVD drive and there is a small hole on the lower right hand side of the drive. Look at the two wires inside the hole. Red and Black are a Samsung drive, White are a Lite-on drive, yellow are a Benq and a black plug is a hitichi.
This is very easy and only requires minimal soldering.
HI, Your LG LCD monitor has a white DVI connector for connecting the signal cable.
You would reqire either an HDMI to DVI(male connector cable for the xbox) so that you can hook the hdmi cable to the xbox and other end to your monitor. The cable would look something like this http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews/xbox-360/40/Xbox-360-VGA-HD-AV-Cable/p1/
the problem here is the type of xbox u have the xbox arcade has a 25-30gb hard drive if i am not mistaken while the premiuim holds 60gb your best option is to buy a 60gb hard drive transfer everything over to that one the buy a premiuim xbox for 20-30 more then a arcade for almost double the space
try this. unplug everything (power cord, av cables, wireless adapter, controllers) and take off the hard drive. dont plug anything in for about 1-2 minutes. when the time is up, put the hard drive on first then plug everything else in.
I am not 100% sure, but you may need to connect to xbox live or the internet and update it. I don't personally own an xbox 360, but I have heard my friends talking about this and how to fix it. Not a guarunteed solution, but you may consider it.
to start off, what type of cable are you using??
since you've already tried using 2diff TVs,basically its with the console
try using a different AV CABLES, if it still doesnt work, try calling xbox support hotline for possible replacement of your cable or for processing a repair for the xbox if necessary..
since you just bought your console, try going back to the store where you bought it and have it replaced, because for the repalcement of the cable if you call xbox support,it will take 8-12business days for toureceive it and 2-3weeks for the turn around time of the repair for the xbox.
You'd take the audio cables you'd normally connect to your TV or
surround sound system, and connect them to the chair. I believe the
chair comes with extension cables to make this easier, but if not you
can get them at any Radio Shack or electronics store.
If you use a HDMI cable to connect your 360 to your TV, you'll need to
also plug in the AV cable so you can get the audio cables. The 360
won't have a problem with this.
E74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.
Take it back if its brand new and have it replaced,
