Question about Bose SoundDock Digital Music System for Apple iPod - White
U need to Check the power supply is providing +18 VDC and -18VDC.
If it is then open the sounddock and examine the power supply connector....very very closely.
The power connector had intermittent connection to the sound dock circuit board. Looking closely (mangifing glass) you might see cracks in the solder around the connector pins. This is a cold solder agravated by rough handing of the power cord. Resolder the pins on the connector on the bottom side of the board. Make sure the solder flows around the pin and through the board. else i suppose its a problems with the port that plugs into the ipod.
