SOURCE: Screen size is very small

Hi,
I am a Dell Certified System Engnieer(DCSE).

log on to this link
http://tinyurl.com/3aomff
punchin your system's service tag
you will get a list of drivers
and you just have to look for video drivers it would be at the bottom
still if you face any issue just provide me your system's service tag
your system's service tag located at the bottom pannel of your system, turn it upside down you will find a bar coded sticker which has a 7 digit alphanumeric number
i'll be able to provide you right link for video drivers.

Can I increase the screen resolution on my EV700B monitor higher than 800x600? How?

Open Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Screen Resolution move the slider to the right to increase the screen resolution.
If you cannot increase the screen resolution, it means the correct video driver was not installed generic VGA driver was installed.
In this case install the video driver for your graphics card and change the screen resolution.

I must have hit a button inadvertently and my screen is too big ...I want to zoom it back down down to 100%. How do I do that?

Right click on a blank area of the screen then select the graphics option in the box that comes up
You neglected to mention the operating system so the actual advice from there would vary but at least you are in the area you need to be.

take it down to about 1024x768 to start with and gradually increase until you get the result you desire.

The resolution on my monitor is messed up. Its as if every item (Whether it be shortcut or taskbar) has been enlarged by at least 2x what it was originally. I right clicked on desktop and chose...

The resolution of your system has been decreased. Follow the following steps to increase/ adjust the screen resolution.
1. Open Display Settings by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Display Settings.
2. Under Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.

Please note that When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it won't support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor reverts back to the original resolution
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Good Luck!
Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help!

How do i make the font larger on my netbook model LT2044

To increase the Font size in Internet Explorer, open IE and click on View>Text Size and select "larger". If you want to increase the fonts size of the Windows itself, then you can decrease the resolution of the video adapter. To do so, Right click on empty space on your computer desktop> Properties> Click on settings> Under "Screen resolution" make it to lesser and click OK.

Dell C840 Increasing resolution increase screen size and vice versa

Laptops when running in non native resolutions sometimes tend to use a small area, so that the bluring of text is not noticeable. The reason is that laptop text is only sharp in its native resolution, and in your case the possibility is that your native resolution is 1600x1200 (If you can post the exact model or a link with your machine configuration, I can confirm what the native resolution is).

However you can make the icons and text larger, the best way is to and change the font size in windows (display settings) from the normal to large or extra large. This makes all the fonts much larger and easy on the eye, and it also will keep the text large as you are still running it in native solution mode.

Sanyo Projector==No signal

Hi, Perhaps you can try lowering the screen resolution first of the laptop before plugging in the projector and then the Fn + F8. Thereafter, gradually increase the screen resolution until projector stops displaying. The idea is that your current screen resolution maybe too much for the projector to handle. This of course is assuming that there is no hardware problem with the projector. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
