Error 09B207 007A0F4F

Switch the Printer OFF and ON again and wait for the initialization. If the Error code continues to appear, switch the Printer OFF. Remove the EIO Card (if installed) and make sure that the Hard Disk Drive is installed correctly by pushing it firmly inwards and checking that the two installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the Printer ON again. If the error codes 09Axxx or 09Bxxx appear then replace the Hard Disk Drive. If the Error Code disappeared after removing the EIO Card, then switch the Printer OFF and reinstall the EIO Card, making sure that the two installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the Printer ON again. If the Error Code reappears, then the EIO Card could be faulty. Replace the EIO Card. If Error Code 09Cxxx appears after initialization, then replace the Electronics Module. Once the Error Code has been solved, print an Internal Demo Print to make sure that the Hard Disk Drive is functioning correctly. If the Error Code reappears, then use the above information to troubleshoot the problem.

BIOS error, System Failure, Boot failure? ? Lets FIX it.

I guess everyone working on a computer is familiar with the word BIOS and what exactly it is? Still let me tell that BIOS is intelligent software that enables the system to start. I need not to mention that system here refers to computer. Bios facilitate the booting of a system without human intervention. BIOS is a program that is installed in a hardware chip known as ROM chip.

This single word matters a lot to most of the users who face various problems when their system failed to start normally or make some unusual activities. Each time I visit any technical forum I see a lot many users posting their problem regarding BIOS. I researched on internet about BIOS errors and from my knowledge and experience I am posting this piece of help for those who find themselves helpless in getting a solution to BIOS problems.

Sometimes BIOS itself provide a troubleshooting to most of the problems. When you power ON your system it give beep sound. Checkout some beep codes
1 short Beep indicates System is OK (Acceptance Beep)
Continue long Beep tells RAM Problem
1Long 3 Short Beep confirms RAM Problem
2/3/4 short Beep --its time to Check the RAM & Video Card

By now most of you have found some clue about the problems you are facing. Now learn about POST faults
1) K/B Error/ NO Keyboard present
· Check the loose cable connector
· Cable may be bad (Keyboard)
· K/B itself may be bad
· Check the physical condition of K/B connector on M/B
· If all these are ok & problem is still processed
· Than replace the keyboard port

2) Floppy disk drive Fail
· loose data & power connector of FDD
· Data cable may be bad (FDD)
· Load the CMOS defaults
· Floppy disk drive itself may be bad

3) CMOS Checksum error
· CMOS battery has gone bad replace it. (Weak)
· Check the CMOS jumper it may set on clear
· If the entire ok than check the CMOS battery jack, it may be bad

4) Invalid System Disk, Insert System Disk & Press enter when ready/ NTLDR is Missing
· Check the root directory; it may be formatted or missing bootable files.
· Repair the Windows or Reinstall the operating system.

5) Disk Boot failure, Insert System Disk & Press enter when ready
· Hard Disk check in POST Detected or not
· If not Detected Check the power cable
· Check the Master/Slave jumper setting.
· Also check BIOS setting

6) Computer gives message: Your computer has a serious problem
Back up your data & replace your Hard Disk
This error message is displayed due to the SMART option. This scans the HDD for errors, if it detect the errors than it show the above message. Follow the error message & back up your data on to another drive.

I tried to explain most of the problems along with their solutions. There could be a lot more solutions for the problems. Make your own search and try to fix BIOS problems at your own home.
Forward this to all those who need help!!

Problem with my PC's working

There's any number of reasons why you would experience such problems and also various solutions that might work.
- One of the keys on your PS2 connected keyboard might be stuck and your PC's BIOS assumes you're trying to boot from your floppy drive at the boot up sequence. Check your motherboard's manual for what key that might be and visually inspect it if it's stuck or there's signs of any el. conducting liquids under it or around its base. If such is the case, try rocking the stuck key gently until it gives and returns to its proper position or help it up with a toothpick. You can also use a dull tipped tootpick or soft cotton earbud to clean underneath it, if needed.
- Your PC's BIOS is set so that floppy drive is your first boot device and you forgot to remove non-system floppy disk in it. Remove the disk from the drive and see if your error disappears.
- Your floppy disk drive (FDD) might be corrupt and causing other el. problems on your motherboard, possibly including confusion in the sleep states of your PC. Try disconnecting the power cord off your FDD and see if that helps.
- If you don't really need your floppy disk drive, go to your motherboards BIOS (see manual for how to do that or follow on-screen instructions at boot-up sequence) and either disable your FDD completely, or change the boot-up order so it's not listed before your optical drive and your hard drive. Save changes and reboot.
- Your floppy disk drive might be dead and your motherboard's controller has problems reading from it (regardless if there's disk in it or not). Disconnect power cord and the signal cable from your floppy drive and reboot your PC.
Of course, it could be something else and you'll have to clarify exactly what error codes you get. Still, maybe one of the suggestions above do the trick ;)

Dell inspiron 1545 Laptop computer is getting BSOD on boot, when first ran diagnostics got error: Hard Drive - DST Test Results - Fail Error Code 2000-0142 Msg Hard Drive 0 - self test unsuccessful status...

The error indicates that there's a hard drive issue. If it just happened after the hard disk is reinstalled, remove it and reinstall it. It could be a problem caused by loose connection or improper connections. If the same problem repeats, install the hard drive on another system (to verify whether it works on another machine or not and to confirm it still works). If it doesn't work on another computer/system then your only option to run the system is replacing the hard disk. If it works on another computer or if it's detected on another system, then there could be problem with the hard disk, eg. Corrupt Partition, Windows Corrupt etc....
First of all, try booting into Safe Mode. You have to press F8 during the startup to go into Advanced Boot Options. Once you are in the Windows Advanced Boot Options, select Safe Mode using the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard. If it still doesn't work, it's the hard disk issue. Try with another Hard Disk.
But if in case you can boot into safe mode, check the Hard Disk for errors. In other words, run Windows Checkdisk utility. Hope this helps.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.

Canon ir3300 is giving me error code E6002-0003, h...

Turn off the copier using the power switch on the right. Turn it on again holding 1 and 9. You should see rectangles on the screen. Once this is finished the copier should be in download mode (If this process hangs or doesn't get started the disk will need to be replaced by a tech). Once you reach download mode you'll need a tech to flash the hard disk to get the copier going again. If this doesn't work, the hard disk will need to be replaced. In any case your hard disk is dying and will need to be replaced soon.

Acer computer is frozen on screen which reads press f12 or del to enter setup. when computer comes on it does not beep so i cannot use keyboard all the lights on the keyboard aare off. HELP!!

From the description you are giving, it appears that the system is not detecting a bootable hard disk drive. Hold the power button on the system till it powers off. once system is off, try the following:
  1. Ensure no floppy diskette is in the A: if system has a floppy drive
  2. Disconnect all external items (Printer, scanner, network connection) leave only video and keyboard connected to system.
  3. Try powering system on again
If the system gives the same message, try rebooting and pressing F12 ONCE at the ACER screen and see if you can get a 1 time boot menu. If you can get the boot menu, select CD-ROM, and put you WINDOWS CD in the optical drive, see if system will boot to the CD. If you can, then at the first prompt, press R to enter recovery console, and see if you can run the command CHKDSK /R (then press enter)
If chkdsk runs, then reboot and see if the error has gone away. IF you cannot run CHKDSK then the hard disk drive has likely failed and will need replacement.
