I want serial KEY of INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER version 6.15

Its illegal for anyone to provide serial keys for programs that have retail values set on them there are lots of freeware alternatives on the internet. Download Anything Faster. We all know that internet downloads can take quite a long time to download. If your looking to make your downloading faster - you're reading the right article. Accelerating your downloads is easier than you think. There are a few tricks to speed up any download you have.

The most important thing to consider while trying to download something - remember what kind of internet connection you have. If you have dial-up, you should be prepared to wait awhile. If you have DSL or cable speed internet and it's still going slower than a snail, chances are you have too much going on with your computer. I will explain further! When downloading anything from the internet, you shouldn't have too many other applications or programs running. Keep it simple. Say, your downloading a song - don't keep searching the internet and IMing someone at the same time. Close all other programs running until your done downloading your files. When your download is going way too slow, try hitting Ctrl + Alt + Del and go to your task manager for Windows. A lot of times, programs are still running that you have no idea about. Left click programs and end the task. This can accelerate any download, even if your using dial-up still. If you are using a router for your DSL, you might want to consider unhooking the router and plugging in your modem directly to your computer until your done downloading files. A lot of times, your router strength isn't half as strong as your actual modem connection. You should always consider getting a download manager to accelerate and manage downloading. This can make everything so much easier and faster. I would suggest downloading the Firefox download manager. http://download.cnet.com/mozilla-firefox/3000-2356_4-10208565.html Or orbit download manager http://download.cnet.com/orbit-downloader/3000-2071_4-10600926.html You can pick and choose which downloads you want to accelerate and pause

Troubleshooting DSL Modems

Ever look at your DSL Modem and wonder what all those lights mean? Why do some flash, while others remain solid? What if your lights are different colors? How do you tell if your DSL Modem is working correctly?<br /> <br /> Each light on your DSL Modem represents a function. The light is an indication of whether that function is working properly. Sometimes the placement and title of each function can vary by modem manufacturer, but they are pretty standard in interpetation. If you look closely your modem, you might find that each function is labeled in small print to help identify them.<br /> <br /> A standard DSL Modem has a light for power, internet, ethernet, link and wireless connection. A healthy DSL Modem will have a steady green light that does not blink or flutter for all features other than internet, ethernet and wireless. A flashing or fluttering light indicates movement and useage. When you are connected to your DSL Modem wireless, the light for this feature will blink indicating a connection and/or active useage. If the internet connection is working properly the color of the light will be green. If the connection is working but experincing a problem the light can turn to yellow or orange. If the connection fails, the light on the DSL Modem can be red or absent depending on the problem causing the trouble. If your service is turned off by the provider, more than likely the light will be "off".<br /> <br /> If your lights turn a different color, are absent or your internet connection fails try power cycling your modem before reporting the trouble to your provider. Power cycling helps the DSL Modem to reset its connection and repair your internet services.<br /> <br /> If you are using a DSL Modem alone to connect to the internet (no additional router) you can power cycle it by first turning off your computer and then unplug the modem itself from the power source at the wall. Wait for 1 to 2 minutes and then plug it back into the power source and wait for the warm up to finish before rebooting the pc.<br /> <br /> The DSL Modem should go through the normal warm up procedures of blinking lights, making them all stable and solid green ect. You will know when its finished warming up when the features are set at solid green (other than eithernet, internet and wireless connection as explained above). When the modem finished the warm up, reboot your computer and check your internet connection.<br /> <br /> Power cycling your DSL Modem can help keep your connection healthy and running at optimal speeds.<br />

I have a Compaq s6500nx. I have dsl connection through the ethernet port. After lighting struck nearby, I can no longer connect to internet. The modem is still operating correctly and I have changed...

I would suggest before you do anything you have the DSL provider come and check the line and equipment to verify it is working ok. Then if it is all ok, then you would probably need to replace your network card.

Not sure if i got dsl-924 set up right it keeps loosing internet connection

If ur internet connection is unconnected in between intervals of some 5 to 10 minutes, then it may be problem of ur MODEM or LAN card. The cable may be loose or the device may be faulty. The DSL link setup is perfectly OK. try changing ur MODEM/LAN card with other one.

Lose internet connection after start up

What type of service do you have dial up or dsl? if you have dsl, you might check the that your ethernet cord is tightly connect ( the yellow one coming into the modem). When your internet is on, check your speed. You can do this by clicking on the little internet icon on the lower right. When you are unable to get on the internet have you used the dianostic utility on the page that says you can not get on? You should try that as well. If you are on DSL do the lights on your modem stay on or go out? Which ones?

Is there any way to increase download speed on my dialup connection? Phil

making sure you have the latest drivers for the dialup modem is about the most you can do. not sure if you've considered dsl or cable internet, but its cheaper than paying for dialup service and a phone line. (unless you don't have a cell phone and need the home phone line.)
