It sounds like a bad panel, which is not what you want to hear. Replacing the panel on a Plasma TV usually costs more than just replacing the TV. However a bad panel causes vertical lines exactly as you describe.
hi luigi what u are getting this lines because probably u arent supporting the best picture for your tv...set a 1080p on ur screen in order to avoid those lines they would go away once u have Hd on ur tv
