Question about NEC Diamond Pro 930SB 19" CRT Monitor

1 Answer

Top & Bottom of Display "squashed"

The problem I have is as follows: Every so often the top and bottom of the screen (about 4/5cm) is "squashed" to about 1cm. The middle of the screen is fine. Atfer a few minutes this problem goes away. Also the problem sometimes goes away if I alter the the screen size in the monitor settings. This does not always work though. Is this a monitor problem or is it a video card problem? Thanks for any help, Paul

Display Screen is White

I would check the wires connented to the display screen. they run from the bottom to the screen.
You have disassemble the camera.
I would think first before tring this.
Remove 3 screws on bottom, 1 in battery compartment, and 1 at very top of usb flap (look good).
Now slide the side piece starting at the usb flap then apply pressure to top and away from unit.
now look for 1 silver and three black screws (facing back and front, look good).
See the screen look at the bottom follow the wires to the connector on the very bottom and check that. Remember to replace battery door first if it fell off during process.
*TEST NOTE: You can place batteries in and place a penny across the bottom to test before you put it back together.

Nintendo DS bottom display screen

Hi I have a problem with my bottom screen as well. I was replacing the case as the hinge was broken. When i was putting it back together i noticed a slight tear in the ribbon cable which is attached to the board and the bottom screen.
When I turned it on I found I had poor colour and contrast in the bottom screen however the top screen was fine.
Where this ribbon cable is attached to the board there is two small cables attached to the board beneath it, maybe one of these has come away and needs repositioning or your bottom screen needs replacing.Try this site for diy tipshttp://site.powergamingparts.com
