Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router

Trying to reach support, but I do not have and ID number.

I have called your 800-326-7114 number for support but I get get beyond the first menu option without and ID number. They do not give me the option to set one up. The recording says to get a hold of my representative. I don't have a representative. Enough of all of that!!! I just need some simple help! Would you please help me set up my new computer please?

Need instruction on how to call forward? Why charging to what is indicated as FREE?


You can now divert important calls to another mobile phone or landline if you are unable to take a call in case: you miss a call, are busy, are out of reach or phone switched of.

Activate
  • Go to the 'Call Divert' menu on your mobile phone
  • Select 'Divert if out of reach' option
  • Select 'Activate', followed by to other number option
  • Enter the number in the to other number section
  • Your Call Divert service will now be selected
Deactivate To deactivate go to 'Call Divert' menu and select deactivate / cancel option.




Also:


To forward all calls:
  • to start, enter **21*number #
  • to stop, enter ##21#
To forward calls while you´re speaking to someone else:
  • to start, enter **67*number #
  • to stop, enter ##67#
To forward calls if you don´t answer the incoming caller within 30 seconds:
  • to start, enter **61*number #
  • to stop, enter ##61#

depending on what number you are dialing, if you live in an area where you can still dial 7 digits to reach your party, you should realize that your telephone provider sometimes changes calling zones without your knowledge, so what previously worked as a seven digit number, may require and area code plus the number, eg: 954-922xxxx or if the number you're dialing is out of your area code, you may have to dial, 1-972-922xxxx.
The last thought that comes to mind is that the number your dialing may be to an area that is having facilty troubles and the call can't go through until the problem is fixed.

I have a Nokia e71, and everytime I call someone the caller ID on the person's phone says "private caller". How can I change this?


Telephone settings
Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone.
Select from the following:
• Call — Define general call settings.

Call settings
To display your phone number to the person you are
calling, select Call > Send my caller ID > Yes. To let
the network determine whether your caller ID is sent,
select Set by network.

Display for Caller Id incorrect


After calling Panasonic US at 1800-211-PANA (7262) regarding my kx-tga5420 and kx-tg5230 system's handsets.

On the handset, verify that Caller ID Edit is turned on first.
Menu-->Initial settings
Go to Caller ID edit
Select Auto edit ON
Save
Exit the menu

On the handset main display
Hit the button that relates to CID
Scroll down until you find the desired 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx number that you want to
be displayed as xxx-xxx-xxxx
Hit the edit key until you see the number displayed as xxx-xxx-xxxx
Save
(Note: You have to initial a call once you have saved the change.)


Now hit the TALK button to dial this number

Now when you receive calls from this number it wll show as xxx-xxx-xxxx instead of 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx.
