Hi, If the led light flashes green continuously, the fault came from the DM power supply. The faulty parts there are the electrolytic capacitors. Let me know if your handy with electronics and I will assist you to fix it yourself.
Unplug the unit for 5 minutes then plug it again. Turn it on. If it does not power up, press the SYSTEM RESET button on the front panel with a pointed object such as the point of a pencil or end tip of a paper clip. The green LED light will flash quickly for about a minute then stops. You may turn on the TV then. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost. Changes you made previously, however, are not lost.
Is your set a mitsubishi/ If so you need a DM repair kit they have various kits for the different mitsubishis at the following link under the repair kit category. The kits contain the replacement capacitors and instructions on CD. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
Either bad capacitors -vented - on power supply board or bad E2P eprom board on DM board.Probably the capacitors-4-1000Ufd and 2-3300ufd.You should get expert help from reputable tv shop. Not really do it yourself fix either way.
