you have to download windows media player 11 then it will tell you when to plug in the sansa e280 (probably work with anyone)

once it reads your mp3 in the windows media player on the left side you will see below Library Sansa e280 and the right side you will see the picture of you Sansa and tell you how many GB you have left and at the bottom you will see START SYNC

BACK TO THE LEFT SIDE click on sansa e280 then you will see SYNC RESULTS (this is what add and remove songs from your mp3)

click on sync results what come up on the middle screen is what on your mp3 if you want to remove all the songs

Also in the sync results i where you add your songs above click on the playlist and your songs are to show up then drag to the right the songs you want to download to the right where it says SYNC LIST

Then press START SYNC wait a few seconds then you will see your downloading to your mp3

sorry it so long this is the first time posted a solution

How do i put music on my mp3 player from my pc

You connect the MP3 player to your PC using the U.S.B. port to your computer. It will show up on your pc as a new Drive like "E:" then you pick the songs you want from your PC and copy and paste them to the new MP3 player (the new detected drive). One suggestion don't cut and paste from your PC. Because you will be removing the song from your PC then and if you lose the MP3 player. ..bye bye to all your favourite songs.

In my mp4 it shows that i have 376 songs and when i try to see it on the computer it doesn't show any of the songs.

Hi owaisdw3...
Try finding your songs this way:

BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
If you want to delete the music the do the following:
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

MP3 delete songs

After you plug in your mp3, go to My computer. This should now show your hard drive, cd drive and hopefully your mp3 device, double click the device (it might be called "Removable disc") this will show you the contents of your mp3

How do a veiw my library on my mp3

Plug your mp3 into the computer using your usb cable. Open windows explorer and click on drive "E". it might be different on different computers but a little playig around should find it. Then by trolling through it you should find all the files available on your mp3. Your problem was created by removing it from the computer without using the safety hardware removal. I still have not found a simple method to rectify this problem.

try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

You should be able to hook your mp3 player up to your computer with the USB cable. This will allow you to browser the directory where the songs are and delete or add new songs. Your mp3 player will appear in your computer as a removable disk. The songs that you put on your mp3 player need to be in mp3 or wma format. I also found the instruction manual for your product in pdf format. http://www.gpx.com/shop_ind.php?id=%20%20344#
