there is a very strong possibility that a part of the film circuit of the LCD was loose and somehow totally lost connection due to shaking and other forms of physical trauma.

Canon 870 when taking pictures outside they look fine in the lcd screen prior to shot then after shot taken a bright light appears almost whiting out the whole picture
I think my LCD screen has partially burned-out pixels. It's no longer just a black etch-o-sketch line but now is more like a blob and growing slowly. What gives? (note: when downloaded, images are flawless.)
