The power button on my printer keeps flashing.
I can' t print anything. I keep getting an error message "Communication Not Available: The printer cannot communicate with the computer.
I have disconnected and reconnected the power cable and the USB cable and restarted my computer.
I am using Windows XP operating system.
It was working fine before. I haven't used it in a while and I hooked it up to a different computer. When I hooked it up to the new computer, I installed new ink cartridges and printed a test page to align the cartridge. After the test page printed, it hasn't printed anything else and the power button keeps flashing.

If your printer keeps on printing the same document, there might be a lot of print jobs in your queue. You might have sent the same print jobs when you were getting the communication error. Just click on Start > Printers and Faxes > Double click on the Lexmark icon and clear the print jobs in the queue.
