Most mp3 players have a reset button make sure it's unpluged and then press the reset button then plug it back it and that should fix it.Note the reset button is most of the time about the size of a pin hole.

Mp3 player does not seem to fully charge

Try pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit and restarting your computer then plugging the usb cord. If still not working try charging from an external usb charger that matches the voltage specs for the aquabeat model you have and letting it charge over night.

MP3 Player Trouble

You have to hold your power button up for at least 20-30 seconds and then it should come on. If that doesn't work hold the power button and the home button at the same time for about 10-20 seconds

Do you charge it from an outlet of via usb cord? If from an outlet, the charger just might not work anymore, but the usb cord that you use to put media on the mp3 player will charge it also.

How do I charge my MP3 ?

Hello camerorunner,

Most MP3 players can be charged by connecting them to a computer's USB port using the supplied cord. Make sure you are plugging the MP3 player into a USB 2.0 port directly on the computer itself, not on a USB hub. Most USB hubs do not have enough power output to actually charge your player.

The player may also be supplied either a wall adapter or car cord that can be used to charge the unit. However, most manufacturers sell these items as optional accessories.

Charging problem

Hello lil ronaldo,

It sounds like the internal battery pack may be failing. The rechargeable batteries commonly used in MP3 players last a long time but they do eventually fail and when that happens the battery will fail to properly hold a charge. It may come up to full voltage when you attempt to charge it but will quickly run out of power when removed from the charger. This sounds like what is happening based on your description.

I would recommend contacting Samsung to get battery replacement service. You can call them at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) or use their online service request tool. If the unit is outside of the original manufacturer's warranty there will probably be a charge for the service.

Best Regards,
