Question about Samsung CLP-300N Laser Printer
I have installed this printer as a network printer for three home computers. Following installation, it all works fine for all three computers. However when the printer and computers are turned off for more than a few hours, any attempt to print results in a pop-up message saying the printer is not connected to the network. Reloading the drivers solves this problem (until the next time) but this approach is very time consuming and fiddly.
Any clues as to what is happening here?
The printer is probably not getting the same IP address every time. Set a static IP address outside of the range being used for DHCP addressing. If the entire range is set for DHCP, you will need to adjust that range so the printer's IP is no longer in it.
