Question about Computers & Internet

Facebook Problem I am having trouble logging on to facebook. when i type in the web address it brings up a blue bar at the top of the page and nothing else. if i go to google and type in facebook login it gives me the option to login with my username and password. my homepage comes up but it doesn't have a right scrollbar and it doesn't load all the way down. When i click on anything on my homepage it either only loads a small strip at the top of the page or loads the page for a split second and then disappears. i have tried enabling all my active x controls and disabling my norton internet security. i don't know what else to do.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Point your web browser at Welcome to Facebook Log In Sign Up or Learn More

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

Facebook won't let me log in, and it looks different?

Make sure in the URL bar at the top of your web browser that the web address is actually www.facebook.com. It's odd that that facebook would look different.

If you are sure you are on facebook, then you could try resetting your password. https://www.facebook.com/help/213395615347144

Hope that helps!

Facebook page is flashing and I cant type in my password

Is this only happening with Facebook, or does it affect other web pages? I've recently been having a similar problem with the flashing address-bar on various webpages at random, and I've experienced the same problem using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Opera. I have found that pressing the <esc> key or the <ctrl> key will stop the flashing address-bar so that I can type input again ... until it happens again.

I'm still looking for a real "fix", but I hope this helps!

Please Verify Your Identity

Your Facebook account might have been compromised.
An account on a social networking website such as Facebook can be a prime target for hackers. If you have lost access to your Facebook account because it has been hacked, your first priority is to regain access to the account before the hacker can send messages to your friends that could result in their accounts being compromised as well.
Facebook provides tools that you can use to recover a compromised account, based on whether or not your personal email account has been hacked as well.If You Can Access Your Email
1. Open a Web browser and navigate to the Facebook account recovery page using the Resource link.
Click the link after Step 1 on the page.

2. Click the link after Step 1 on the new page to begin the process of resetting your Facebook password.

Click in the box under "Enter Your Facebook Username," and type the name that you use when logging in to Facebook.
Alternatively, use the first box to enter the email address or phone number associated with your account.
Click the "Search" button.
A security check window appears.
Type the words that appear on the screen, and then click "Submit."

Click the "Reset Password" button.
Facebook sends an email to the address linked to your account.
The email address is displayed on the screen.
If the email address displayed is not your own, it means that the hacker who compromised your account changed the email address associated with it. If this is the case, follow the steps in the section "If You Cannot Access Your Email."

Check your email address for a message titled "Facebook Password Reset Confirmation."
Open the email and click the link contained within.
The Web browser navigates to the Facebook password reset page.

Type the password that you would like to use for your Facebook account, and then type it a second time to confirm that you entered it correctly.
Click "Change Password" to log in to the account.

If You Cannot Access Your Email

Open a Web browser and navigate to the Facebook account recovery page using the Resource link.
Click the link after Step 2 on the page.

Click the first link on the new page if your email account has been hacked and you no longer have access to it, or click the second link if you followed the steps in the section.
"If You Can Access Your Email" and the email address displayed was not your own.

Type the phone number or username of your Facebook account, and then click "Search."
If you are unable to get a match, type your name plus the name of one of your Facebook friends.
Type the words displayed in the security check box, and then click "Submit."
This brings you to a Web form titled "My Account Has Been Compromised."

Fill in the information requested on the form, including your Facebook username, your name, any email addresses associated with the account, your own email address and a description of the problem.
Click "Submit."
This sends a message to Facebook notifying its support staff that your account has been compromised.
Before unlocking your account, a member of the Facebook staff will contact you to confirm your identity.

What is my code number?

If you're looking for your ID number, you will find it in the URL (website address) of your profile page.

1. Open your browser, or open a new tab.
2. Navigate to Facebook, either through a bookmark or typing in www.facebook.com
3. Login to your account.
4. Once you log in, click on "Profile" (in the case of the new Facebook layout) in the upper right corner. Older Facebook layouts, bring up your profile by clicking on "Profile" or "Home" then clicking on your username that appears in the upper left corner. This brings you to your profile page.
5. Once your profile page loads, look at the URL in the address bar of your browser. You will see something that looks like this or something similar to this: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=XXXXXXXX
6. Take note of the following section of the URL address: "/profile.php?id=XXXXXXXX"
7. The "id=XXXXXXXX" is your ID Number. Your ID number may have more or fewer digits than the example provided.

Hi,

Clear your cache and delete all of your cookies in your browser. In your browser, type in the address bar http://www.facebook.com/login (which doesnt exist). This will take you to a different login page which reads: "The page you requested was not found."At the top of this page is a login box. Try using this login box to login to facebook. If you are using the Adblock extension with Firefox, and subscribe to an ad list (basically a list of known ads online), it blocks a special site (fbcdn.net) that Facebook uses to login. Go to:http://www.facebook.com/login.php(the page you are having trouble logging in) and click on the Adblock Stop Sign on top of Firefox, and you will see in red a url that includes fbcdn.net. Right click on that, and add an exception for the entire fbcdn.net domain. Reload the page. This should fix the problem.

Thank you!!

You can also use a Proxy Server to connect to Facebook.com. Search Proxy in GOOGLE,select Proxy Server and type in facebook.com (in the proxy server webpage). Finally now you can login into your facebook account.

Thank you!!
