Webcam wont let me do Video Effects?

I just got the same problem with mine in fact my webcam built into my asus G73 laptopp in my webam i am in color only when the laptop is tilted up and when i lower the screen i turn black and white. I called customer service and they are replacing it. the problem would most likely be a messed up ribbon cable for your webcam. i am actually taking it in to be looked at today.

The video effects are available according to your OS - maybe you have an older system? if not, the installation software may not have fully loaded

Make sure you have Microsoft DirectX installed
The features you get with your webcam depend on your OS
Check out what you have by launching the toolbar and clicking on the Video Effects menu ( 2 theatre masks )

right click on ur web cam video window and choose video settings, You should have a window with all kind of effects that You can add- hit apply and OK when you done

Uninstall the Webcam Drivers..

Download the following Driver and install it for your Webcam to resolve the issue.

you need to contact logitech the pc needs to be cleaned booted and then the drivers can be installed. should restore functionality.
