There are a couple (3) of things that can cause this.
1. You have a broken brew drive but you would hear a clicking noise if this happens.
2. You have an over charge going into you brew unit. There is a small knob in your bean hopper. Turn it back 1 mark and try again.
3. Your grinder has come apart and is grinding very coarse. (French press size) New grinder.
On some machines, there is a fuse on the side of the boiler, under a clamp. Some newer boilers have a thermostat with a reset button on the back of the boiler with 2 black wires on it. The reset button is between the wires. There is also a power filter under the grinder side that has 5 wires on it. That can keep the machine from turning on.
First make sure everything is in and locked (brew unit, drip tray, and dredge drawer). Open the knob on the right and flow water through the wand. Now turn the knob in the bean hopper to 16 and push the brew button. If that didn't work you might have a clog in the grinder, and will need to clean it.
Before you go that far, what does the grind on the coffee puck look like; is it fine like powder or is it course. The water from the machine might not be able to go through the coffee and so the bypass is opening because of too much pressure. Try adjusting grind first.
Order the replacement boiler, (be sure to empty all of the hot water from the boiler first using the hot water function on the right side of your Solis) take your time and open the machine up, the top comes off. There are 3 mounting screws that hold the boiler in place, remove them, be sure to take hold of the boiler before removing the last mounting screw. Remove and replace the wires and 2 water hoses (w/clips). The orange wires the connect to a unique plastic harness are clipped into the harness. Look closely and you'll see a little window in the plastic harness at the end of each orange wire. Use a tooth pick or a pointed device and push the metal clips thru these windows, this unlocks the wires for removal from the boiler.
