I just replaced the battery on my laptop and the lever seems to be stuck on the left. I cannot get it out. How do I safely remove the battery without damaging anything.
Make sure the battery is in good, then keep applying pressure to the latch.

Hello my friend, try to remove your battery and then installed it back then make it sure that the battery has the right amount of energy to supply the needs of your laptop. Also If the problems is still no display then kindly contact a technician in your place or find a service center near within your locality and let them fix and trobleshoot the problem. The usual cost of in fixing the problem is not much maybe a maximum of hundre dollars (if you are using US Dollar Currency). the worst problem if your unit has a defective parts then may be it defends the price of the defective parts will you spend.

Video cards are integrated onto laptop motherboards so you will have to replace the whole mobo and can cost between $150 - $400 depending on where you get one from.
Many people end up getting a new computer instead and sell their old ones for spares to make up the money.
Just out of interest can you tell me what is wrong with the laptop graphics as it may be as simple as the graphics drivers being bad.

I had tried that, the lever barely moves. I believe the lever should be on the right, pushing to the left to push the battery out. However, the lever accidently got pushed to the left while the battery was placed into the computer. The battery is a new lithium 12v battery.
the lever is on the left when my computer is facing me with the headphone jacks toward me with the cd/dvd drive on the left, instead of the right when in normal position.
