Question about Sharp EL-6890
THE CONNECTING PAD BETWEEN THE DISPLAY AND THE BOARD IS NOT PERFECTLY CONECTED,FIRST BACK UP YOUR DATA. UNSCREW,REMOVE BATTERIES,ALL DATA IS LOST, REACH THE DISPLAY BY SMOTHLY SEPARATING THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE ORGANIZER,
REACH THE DISPLAY CONNECTING CABLE(RIBBON TYPE)
USE A TEFLON FABRIC ON TOP OF CABLE WHERE IT IS CONNECTED TO THE BOARD,USE A SOLDERING IRON AND SMOOTHLY MOVE THE TIP BACK AND FORTH ON TOP OF TEFLON FABRIC SEVERAL TIMES!!!!BE CAREFULL NOT TO HIT THE RIBBON WITH THE TIP AS IT DAMMAGE THE RIBBON AND IT IS NOT FURTHER FIXABLE,NORMALY THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY FOR SOME TIME,PUT THE PARTS TOGETHER,GOOD LUCK.READ THIS SEVERAL TIMES BEFOR DOING THIS........
