ink system failure is pertaining to the printhead,it maybe clogged or already damaged ,usually printhead has life shelf,it can print up to 11000 copie after that symptom will show... you have to replace it it serves as a pen it is the one that submits ink to the paper ...also try to do power reset, turn off printer, unplug power cable at the back, unplug cable in the outlet wait 30 secs plug it back in then power on... you may call hp 18004746836 to order new printhead
Try this really quick and see. uninstall the printer completely, take out the the inks and replace them. then follow the initial steps you used in installing the printer when you bought it. If it doesn't work, try installing it on another computer. Cheers!
IssueAn 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel. The printer cannot copy, receive faxes, or print. Solution Press the On button to turn the printer off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Remove all the ink cartridges. Wait two minutes. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer. Press the On button to turn the printer on. Install the ink cartridges when prompted. If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved. If the 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, service the printer.
Try to reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color
buttons at the same time and turn the 3310 off. Keep holding the
buttons down until the printer shuts off and then turns itself back on. You
will have to turn the printer off twice and then it will recalibrate.
Make sure you have new cartridges in the printer so that it can reset.
