Question about Jensen VM9410 Car DVD Player
I have the jensen vm9311dvd indash player... i just got it installed but when i turn on the car the volume is on max and about blast us out of the car...how can i fix this permenantly??? thanks thaman7
Heres the best way to fix; Quote from manual "Programmable Turn-On Volume (Pg.12) This feature allows the user to select a turn-on colume setting regardless of the colume setting prior to turning the unit off. To program a specific volume level, push and hold the VOL/LOC/DV know (6) while the yellow volume bar is displayed on the screen. The unit will beep two times to confirm your turn-on volume setting." Ah i had the same problem. I turned to the manual and it worked for me :) Good Luck, Ern

Jensen car stereos have a "feature" called programmable volume memory. Maybe video players have the same thing. To set the startup volume, push and hold the power button. You might see a message about Memory or Volume. Then adjust the volume while holding still holding the power button. Definitely works for Jensen car mp3 players. HTH, Susan

It sounds like you have something wrong with the volume control circuit inside the unit. The only way to fix this is to take the unit out of the car and have it bench tested or if you just got it or bought it, take it back for a new one. Good Luck PS Please dont forget to rate this thread.
