Pagemaker 6.5 is designed to be used with Windows 95 / 98 / NT 4, therefore in order to run it in Vista I'd suggest to run your Pagemaker 6.5 using Compatinity Mode --> Go to your Desktop --> Right click on the program icon--> properties-->Compatibility--> select one of the versions above

Pagemaker 6.5 loads fine onto my new Toshiba laptop with Vista.

I also loaded PM7, which did open, but then closed and didn't save. I didn't do any of the compatibility fixes with Vista.

I see in Wikipedia that Adobe states PM6.5 works with Vista.
