Make sure you did not select a tape or monitor input, this will bypass all other sources

Have a Pioneer stereo receiver, Model VSX-4400 (made in 1989). It works just fine. My question is: will it work with high def? Thanks!

No. It does not have the required inputs and output connections nor digital decoding to support any hi-def formats.

Does the sherwood rx 4105 receiver have analog or digital inputs

Unfortunately the RX-4105 is a stereo only receiver with only analog L/R inputs. You will have to find a stereo output & go in through one of the stereo inputs.

Hdmi inputs does not show a picture. The inputs just stop working.

I'm having the same problem. The projector stopped recognizing any input over either of the two HDMI inputs. The JVC RX-D411S receiver was working fine up until I used the VGA input with a computer and since that time, HDMI has not worked (despite working fine before). I tested two HDMI cables into each of the two ports but nothing! All other inputs work fine.

No longer getting video feed through Home Theatre receiver

HDMI ports 5 and 6 on the back of tv no longer are working. (We had a series of thunder storms so don't know if that is how they got damaged or if it was something else) but moved HDMI input cable to HDMI port 4 on tv and everything is working again. Service call placed for warranty service on tv to repair bad ports.

Will the Kenwood KDC 1032 RCA outputs work with an ipod adapter similar to an aux output? If so, how?

Hi, if you are trying to get your I-pod to play through your car stereo, then you would need to have the RCA inputs, not outputs. If you connect your i-pod to the stereo outputs it won't work because both things are trying to push sound out of their outputs. If you connect the adapter to the stereo's inputs then it would work.

I have a Aiwa Stereo Receiver Av-D58. The sound

If I remember this model correctly, there is only 1 direct input. The remainder of the inputs are bufferred through a switching IC. It is likely that this IC is defective. Are there any other symptoms at all?

Thanks,
Dan

Lost DVD Audio in and Video

If you didn't do anything with the programming of the receiver inputs, then I'm afraid you do have a problem with your hardware inputs in the back of your receiver.

Speakers dont work

THE PROBLEM is that being in atruck the vibration are greater and things move in time and as this has hapend its quite possible its shorted on the speakers and blow the audio chip so if that is the case just buy an amp and conect that and fix the problem a lot cheaper
