Problem with Daewoo DTQ-13P2FC 13" TV
A couple years ago I made a parental control password and since I never really touched the parental control password. I have forgotten what it is and I need to know how to reset it. Please help!!!

You can try these codes 2211 or 3308 if they do not work you will need to reset the unit. You will need to unplug it for 45 minutes that will reset the TV to factory settings. Then the pass codes I provided should work.

4. if it show a little time region lock then please do again 1. 2. 3.and this time it will show region free

As per the owners manual - be sure TV is OFF - hold the volume down button on the front of the TV AND the clear button on the remote - the TV will automatically turn back on - set new password when you go into parental controls again.
alliemsucc what's the clear button? i have a direct tv remote..

Enter the master password 4357 to reset then create a new one. Found this on the web and worked for me.
From Daewoo customer Service:

If you forget your password, press and hold TV on the remote and the MENU
button on the television simultaneously for 3 seconds. Parental controls will
then unlock and you can re-enter a password via Lock Parental Controls.

The only way to set the TV back to a state where it has no password is to find an internal battery.
If this can be located and removed for say, a day or two, or the connections shorted for a few seconds, where the battery was, then the battery replaced.
The memory parts should now be back to normal so that the TV can be reprogrammed with TV stations.

i am not an expert however I have been having trouble with my Philips TV for months now. Factory set access 0711 is the default for alot of philips TV's. Try keying in this number to get to access code to store new one. I hope your problem is'nt like mine only 8 months old and it keeps shuting off because it loses it's memory and keeps thinking the channels are blocked. It therefore shuts off immediately when it is turned on. Good Luck!
PS. The only expert advice I could give is don't buy Philips brand ever again!

I googled the manual for the polaroid TTM-2401 TV and it says that the master code for that tv is 410000 I tried it and it worked!!
My GE manual states to override a forgotten password, use remote to access the main menu, then select parental control, when the enter password screen appears use the tv's front control panel press and hold at the same time the ch+ and vol+ for 8 seconds. You will receive an on screen message the parental control have unlocked....... I must admit, this did not work for me. Still open to other ideas.
martin smith Try this; with the TV on, hold the volume down on the remote and at the same time press & hold the menu button on the TV for 8 seconds. Then check paternal control, it should be unlocked......This worked for me.

Hope Im Not Late You Can Also Hold Channel - And Volume + At The Same Time On The Tv While It Is On And It Will Be Reset To 0000
Yo im a kid who figured out this prob trying to hack parental control lol you can thank my generationXD okay if u still have ur email click forgot password it'll send a temporary pass to u so u can reset it if not just make a new account on ur comp it wont give u a new parental control password but the new account has absolutely no restrictions since the limits arent set on it XD UR WELCOME azn4lyfe

FOLLOW SOLUTION #2 from chris5563 for RCA 19" TV mod# F19430 built y2k!!!!! Can't tell you how many other procedures I tried with NO success; I've had this stupid thing for 3 years. Then I found suggestion from chris5563: from remote control press MENU, toggle to 'Parental Control', press >+, at enter password - type in 2211 - BAM!!! UNLOCKED!!! AWESOME!!! Problem - Legend Television blue screen with red lock in upper left hand corner.
Solution - Press and hold display button on the remote for 3sec, then the problem will be solved.

vicskitty444 I have had the tv for years and never put a parental code on it. I moved and then one night while watching family guy, it blocked it from the tv. Now it blocks almost everything I watch unless it is cartoons. It tells me to enter a code but I dont know the code. I dont have the remote. All i have is a direct tv remote.

jess32 i was given a tv daewoo dtq-19v1fc. it has parental control on it and no one knows what the password is to unlock this feature. i am trying to figure out how to access all channels. i have tried all solutions offered except to disconnect internal battery because i wouldn't even know where to begin. is there another way?
