Weird error? okay, so i was waiting for my player to turn on, so i could plug it into my computer and delete some files.i think i plugged in the USB cable to soon and now the screen looks kindove like tv fuzz.It looks like the same little shape running down the screen endlessly in all these little rows.the only similar thing to it would be well...tv fuzz.i was thinking i should just leave it and wait for the battery to run out, and plug it back in when it dies. anyone have any better ideas?

I had this once, when it was on top of my tv, it also looked like tv fuzz. Then, It fell off the tv.
So I dropped it of my desk and it turned off itself.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

How to delete songs from my Sansa m250?

When you connect the MP3 player to yourcomputer with the supplied USB cable then computer detects the player as anexternal storage device or a Removable disk, you can then view the folder onyour MP3 player. Open the music folder and create a new folder on the playerexactly the same way you create a folder on your computer's hard drive. Toorganise your music, make a folder name with the name of the music album andplace the album's MP3 files in this folder, then copy the mp3 files from thecomputer into this folder.
You will then be able to select the music you want to play by the music albumfolder. To delete a filefrom your MP3 player, connect the supplied USB cable to your player and thenplug it into the USB port of your computer.
The computer will detect your player then click on this device to view thefiles, you can then click on the music file to highlight the file and thenpress the Del key to delete the file off your MP3 player.

Can't delete preloaded files on 705

I had the same problem - VERY frustrating. Just found the answer, and am very happy to share it!

1. In setting/USB mode, select MSC mode.
2. Plug in Coby to USB
3. Open My Computer. Look for the Coby as a REMOVABLE DISK, not the Coby.
Files will be there for Viewing and Deleting! (On XP, at least).
4. Make a backup of MTP.BIN and WMPInfo.xml, which I think is the operating sytem?

I got the clue from here:

Well, turn on you mp3 player, go on setting/USB mode and select MSC mode.

Then plug it on your computer and check in MICIN.DIR folder. You must find them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn't exactly what I saw, but once I looked, it was all there. Perfect!

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

TO DELETE
1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

MP4 my mp4 player will not turn on. When it was on it was okay, then I received an error message, a Red X with a plug on the LCD. First time using and trying to get music off of computer on mp4. I also got...

I am embrassed, the MP4 needed charging.. Also, the USB connector is not working so I am going to buy a new one, I believe that is why I can not transfer the music from my computer onto the device.

I think that I am going to be okay

Thanks

"MTP DB Mismatch Format?"

I had the same problem In My Sandisk Sansa, and the way I fixed it is the following: Plug your player in your computer in MSC mode (On your player, go to settings, then USB and choose MSC) Then in "my computer", right-click on the player icon and go to "properties". In "properties" go to "tools" and in the first option, which is "error checking", click on "check now". In check disk options, check both "automatically fix file system errors" and "Scan for and attempt recorevy of ba sectors". It's going to take a few minutes (phase 1 and phase 2 will be displayed). Wait until it is complete. When it is done, close the "properties" window and right-click on the icon of the player and click on "format"! It should say format complete and the player should be then be ready to synchronize files again! Now Enjoy That Good luck!! From:-Javed(Taj)
