I have had my bread machine now ten years. Last week, even though I could hear the motor whirring under the bread pan, the bread paddles isn't moving. I replaced the bread pan and paddle, still not...

Your drive
belt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine is
unplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is in
there. If it has snapped or come off you'll need to replace it. I have a few
belts that might fit. Hopefully your
belt will have letter/number code on the smooth side. It will look something like this: STS 80 S3M 561 Email me that code to daryl441@msn.com. If I have it I could sell you the belt. There are several videos
on you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you could
install it yourself if I have the belt you need.

I can't get the dough bucket to come out of the mancine,so need manual for admiral red star bread machine #735, where can I find it?

If your oven chamber has the two little spring clips holding the pan in on each side follow the instructions I wrote for a variety of pan types:

Bread pan removal:

I am assuming you have the type of bread machine that has the little metal spring clips inside the oven compartment. Before inserting the pan always check on the bottom of the pan (underneath) to see how the impeller "T" is aligned and turn it with your fingers or turne the paddle with your fingers so the "T" will fit into the gaps of the impeller in the bottom of the oven. Once you have aligned them then place the pan in the oven and "pop" push the pan in place so the spring clips grab the matching clips on the sides of the pan. Also look to see if your pan has the word "front" stenciled in the lip edge of the pan. If so, be sure that edge is towards the front of the machine. If your pan still won't pop into place when you push down your spring clips may need to be gently pulled out because they can become "slack" over time. Take the pan out and reach in and pull each spring clip up until you start to feel it bend a little and bend them out. Pop your pan into place and if the clips don's start to grab your pan repeat the process of bending the clips out and repeat that until they do. Summary:

1) make sure if your pan is marked "front" that it is aligned properly

2) make sure the paddle and the T underneath the pan aren't in conflict with the matching drive impeller in the bottom of the oven. Just turn the paddle so they are opposite of each other and can engage

3) Restore the "springiness" to your clips by bending them out with your fingers. Be careful though because the spring edges are fine edges so get underneath them when you pull up

I have a sunbeam bread machine model#5891 input 120 vac 60H2600utz and cant find the book to it to tell me the recipes to make the bread it had the measurements in it and other recipes

Here you go

MANUAL

The link is on the right side of the page about halfway down.

I have the same machine by the way.

If you have a BulkBarn near you go there for bread machine flour and the milk powder and yeast. Waaaay cheaper than the grocery store! And don't bother with the express loaf, it calls for so much yeast it tastes strange.

A couple tips... to get the loaf out turn the pan upside down and give the paddle a little twist so it unhooks from the loaf. Should pop right out.

And I'm getting fat... Don't make bread every day.

Bread rises too high

Try using less yeast ( average loaf needs only 1 1/2 tsp yeast) and don't forget to add salt as that will also control the rising.
Or make a smaller size bread.

Bread does not rise

  • Make sure it is good quality Strong White Flour (not plain flour)
  • The amount of water you use is very important. Use scales for accurate results - 1ML = 1G for water
  • Make sure the yeast is as per instructions regards type/quantity/quality.
  • Double check that you are running the correct program.
  • Always put the yeast in first, as you dont want the water in contact with water
Having failed that I would return the machine

Black & Decker B2250 - Recipies

Here's a good basic white bread recipe that works great with a BD2550 (and usually doesn't even **** the mixing blade off of the bottom of the machine)

1 cup warm (not hot) water
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 tablespoons butter/margarine
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon yeast

Heat the water and add the milk to it. Dissolve the sugar and salt into this mix and pour the liquid into the bottom of the bread maker bucket (make sure the mixing blade is already in). Melt and add the butter to this mix. Add the 4 cups of flour directly on top, but do not mix it in. The flour will float on top of the liquid. Make a small dimple in the top of the flour in the middle with your finger and add the yeast into that little crater (at no point while adding ingredients do you let the yeast touch the liquid). Set the bread maker for basic setting 1, light crust, 2lb loaf and let it do it's thing. 3 hours later, you'll have a nice loaf of white bread with good consistency and density, and it usually leaves the mixing blade in the bucket (rather than having to dig it out of the loaf after).

Hope this helps!
