Do you want to reset the configuration of the terminal box? If so, you may try unplug the power cord or pressing in a little hole on the back labeled as Reset. If you want to close the session with the server, you can logoff there in your terminal program (telnet, remote desktop, terminal emulator or a dial up terminal) or citrix.
From what i can tell the storage devices aren't all compatible, and those that are, require; in some cases the system to be re-booted upto 3 times.

The usb ports may even have to be enabled in the device manager.
