I suspect you might have a power failure caused by an internal fuse. Fuses rarely just go on their own, so it might be caused by an overload, generally caused by a faulty output device.
If you have any knowledge to repair one or no someone who has you can or they can look around inside. Otherwise it's off to the repair shop with it. Unless you have a five year warranty on it or have paid for extra cover, then you will be liable for the full cost of the repair. If you have a five year cover or extended plan, contact the manufactory or the service plan provider. But do NOT open the unit yourself.
check if power supply is ok and cable securely connected.
check if the power switch is ok - sometimes it takes several attempts to power on.
check if you can see green light inside the cpu.

Two thing here.
#one the internal fuse has blown unlikely as the standby light is powered.
Two the power supply unit or switch is faulty.
get some one electrical component with the unit unpluged open the case and check any internal fuses have not blown.
Two check capacities on the power board these are large cylindrical shaped objects. These can dry out and or exploded if faulty relatively cheap to replace.
Second check the power switch actual powers the unit again someone with a multi meter and electrical compertent.
It is probably worth replacing either a capacity or switch anything else may prove false economy
I have replaced power board on other units but to be honest unless the unit was very expensive I would buy new
In this case what is required is a probe using a multimeter and you must be technically inclined to check this out. Please be careful not to short and unless you are confident to use a multimeter with the selected range to check for the Secondary LT voltages to the circuit , it is not recommended. If you can get a tutorital on use of multimeter, you can start from the secondary power supply , check out each sections of the DC outputs to the respective board . If power seems good then you need to know the basics of the block sections of the amplifier to proceed further so as to identify.
Turn off your unit at the power button. Check speaker outputs for a short circuit - also check other end of speaker cables for a short. If you can't find an obvious problem then disconnect all speakers and power up the unit. If all is OK then connect speakers one at a time (this should be done with the unit powered OFF) and power up after each conection. This should identify which output is causing the problem.
If that does not work then it's an internal fault that will require a service engineer to identify - but I hope that is not the case!
I am having this same problem. I have checked all fuses and all seem ok. Does anyone know what else might be keeping this from powering on? Any common problems that this one had to cause this? Also does anyone have a diagram of the schematics or the service manual?
