Problem with Youtube

Hi, I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and Java Script is turned on in the advanced security settings, but still I always get the following message: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. I have Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13 on Windows XP 32 bits. Youtube on the browser looks as in the photo below when I try to play a video. I would be much thankful I you can help me fix this problem. It's been two weeks that I can't access youtube. Elie

Thanks Eeeeekz,

I tried many things other than turning Java Script on, I think it's the option to allow the on site video player to run. Then I restarted my computer and it works. As I told I'm not sure it's that because I tried many things. Maybe youtube needs the option.

Try google chrome because youtube is a google product.

Elie, What i would suggest to do is a) restart your computer then try running youttube again. and b) running a updater which will update your updated files/drivers which very well might be your problem. If you would like assistance which which updater i use feel free to write me. -Please post with what you decide to do and how you do it. -I look forward to your posts

Always problem about script error then adobe flash player will slow run..


If you can update your Flash Player through "control panel", do so. If not, uninstall current version of Flash Player and download latest version here:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Choose your operating system, then the latest version of the Flash Player. You may want to save to file, then exit all apps, then open file and download. You have to be out of everything that accesses Internet for download to be sucessful. You will also want the latest version of Java. If you have it, again, see if you can update through "control panel", if not, you can either uninstall it first then get it here:

When I try to watch YouTube videos, it starts, stops, starts, stops etc.; The Help section suggests I install the latest version of Flash Player and enable Java Script... but I don't know how to... Can you...


Goto http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ follow the prompts and install flash.

In your browser e.g IE or Firefox, find the settings page that turns on javascript.

WHEN I TRY TO OPEN A VIDEO IT SAYS THAT JAVASCRIPT IS OFF (which is not) OR I NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF ADOBE FLASH WHICHi did and I can't open any.

open intenet explorer go on tools >> internet option >> advanced , here you will see many security settings option which you can enable dicable according to your requirement and choose privacy option and loose it according you apply now you can download your flash player

Play Youtube


If you have no java runtime environment or have not been updated, you can update java and try this link.http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp. And I have flash player 8 which was downloaded together with the macromedia dreamweaver. You can search that in google and request for a dwonload.

Can't get Adobe flash Player to Install


Try uninstalling Flash Player by downloading the uninstaller from this page http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157.
After that just re-install the latest Flash Player (10.0.12.36) from this page.

Black screen,no play buttons


You have to download video and audio codecs for that matter. Go to this link:

Hi there!

Please completely uninstall Flash before reinstalling the latest version.

To uninstall Flash, please follow Adobe's instructions, listed here:

Once you're done, restart your computer and follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling Flash:

1. Temporarily disable popup blocking software installed on your computer to test.
