How do I get my mp3 out of recovery mode?

I've tried to reset it. It doesn't do anything when I say yes to clean it up? I can't figure out what to do!

    I can't get my Creative Zen V PLUS out off of the recovery mode screen.... the reset button on the side hasn't helped... I've tried selecting 'clean up' and 'format all' and 'erasing firmware'... now i've deleted the firmware and don't have any songs on my mp3 player when i pull up windows media player... but the problem isn't fixed.. i still can't get it off that screen.. and I don't know what to do next!!!!! Please help!

    Okay, I just got a new MP3 Player, the Creative Zen V Plus 2 GB. I had just turned it on and I was syncing some files to it and it worked fine. I went to my room and played with the radio on it and listened to a couple files, but then it shut off on me and when I turned it back on, the screen saysit's in Recovery Mode and it won't come off!!!! Please help me!

    Have a recovery mode, using the v2.1.10 software. Can't get out of the mode.

    i have a zen v plus 2gb mp3 player. when i first synced the music everything was fine. now the player shows that there are no tracks. i tried syncing more music on it and all it does is show error on my windows media player. everything works except the music and the photos that i put on it. i tried the recovery mode but it didn't work.

    I can't get my zen out of recovery mode. I've tried to reset it. It doesn't do anything when I say yes to clean it up. When I open my media library it says there's no music there. Help?

Download the firmware for your Zen (http://ru.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/).Then run it and follow the steps.If ther is appers an error such us your dewice is not connected (but you have connect it) then follow this steps.Insert your zen Cd,then open Control Panel>Add hardware and then you will see what to do:)When you have finished the software installation,run your firmware upgrader again and like that..

Sansa pmp recovery tool


The Sansa Connect Recovery Tool can be used to reformat and install firmware version 1.2.0.53385 to a Sansa Connect. This version is used in the current selling Sansa Connect products.

If for some reason device becomes unstable and resetting and erasing content doesn't resolve the issue, the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool would clean up your device and restore it to factory settings

2 things to check before starting the Recovery Mode and to use the Recovery Tool:

- First, charge the Sansa Connect for at least 20 minutes using the AC charger to ensure this is not a battery depletion problem.

- Second, hold the power button for 8-10 seconds to ensure the device is turned OFF.

After these steps, you can put the Sansa Connect into Recovery Mode and use the Recovery Tool.

My brother's MP3 player is messed up. When you boot it, it automatically goes to recovery mode. Here, it tells you the firmware and gives me a couple options: Recovery Mode Creative Zen Micro...


Couple things to try.

Let the battery drain completely, then do a full charge and try again.

When turning it on, don't hold the ON slide, just slide it to ON then let it go. Holding it will send it into recovery and reset mode.

My sansa e260 turns on and shows the sanddisk page(balck and whit) then it changes and says load main image failled switch to recovery mode. so i do that and it doesnt do anything when i do,, what is wrong...


RESET: Go into the settings and scroll down to reset all, push center button, scroll to yes, push center this will restore factory settings.....
Reset All
NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS
TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION!
If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds.
This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation
will be gone.
This is what it states in the manual for the 260 sansa Page 29
Recovery Mode also resets system settings when unplugged...

Stuck on Recovery Mode


Hi you can try going to Creative's website and downloading there Creative MP3 Player Recovery Toolsoftware and what that does is update everything and most of the timeit will fix what the problem . I would try that first.

Recovery mode


to reset this player -- take out the battery and put back again.
In the recovery mode do the following: format the HD, clean the firmware. If those two go smoothly, go to creative.com and download the firmware, connect player to PC(still in recovery mode) and run the downloaded firmware.

Have you tried to load the firmware? First you'll need to download the firmware to your PC from Creative's website: Click here. After you've downloaded it, connect your Zen via USB to your PC and open the firmware icon, then click "Upgrade."

I agree, use the Reload Firmware tool on recovery mode and then upgrade the firmware from the website. If you get "firmware failed!", then try it from a different computer.

Recovery mode


If your Zen is in recovery mode, simply reboot it, and it should go back to its normal screen.

However, if you reboot it and it goes back into recovery mode again, that means there is some problem with your Zen--likely a hardware failure. It will need to be checked out by a technician.

To reset the player hold in the power button for at least 20 seconds, when you release the button the player should restart on it's own. If it doesn't then try again holding the power button for a little longer. If for some reason the player becomes unstable and resetting doesn?t resolve the issue, then try the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool which will clean up your player and restore it to factory settings.
