I have a sony reciever model # STR-KG700 with 5 speakers and subwoofer. all speakers work with radio and ipod but i cannot get the right speakers to work when watching tv. the tv and receiver are set to surround sound but i only get sound from the left and center speakers. any suggestions?
Just dont put the jacks in from the tv plug satelite jacks in (use optic cable) dvd use orange digital cable and so on if u do it this way and have the same issues then i would 100% say its a reviever issue

Your RCA on your tv is acting like its in mono..it may be a problem with the jacks. alternatively..you can buy a splitter and split teh side that sounds stronger (L) or (R) with a male to 2 female spliter out of the tv then back into l/r input on your reciever... It wont give you surround stereo...but it will soudn a whole lot better.
