When I turn my TV on it starts up right, but then when the picture and audio come on it stops and does the same thing every minute or so and the display lights stay on.This problem happened a couple weeks ago and then it stopped and then just started again.

have same problem sony kdf-e60a20 cuts off picture sound power stays on

try cleaning the bulb
dust build up will over heat the assembly and shut the picture and sound off
mine did the same thing and
now it works great like new
just follow the manual on taking the bulb out use air in a can too clean it
