Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier

1 Answer

Error code 000002-0010

It was out of toner so I'm not sure if something had to work too hard and broke. Either way it just wont let me past the error and then self shuts down.

Thanks in advance

Canon imagerunner error code E000024-0001. All I did was replace the empty toner cartridge!

Hi,
first try to pull out and place it back in toner station, it maybe needs more time to replanish the toner few more times.

By the book, its toner sensor error. did you use force to replace toner? maybe you broke it, or damadged the toner holder and toner isn recognized.

The tube should rotate, when everything is OK,so, open toner cover, insert toner tube, lock it, put piece of paper in sensor hole ( the hole in wich goes plastic nose of toner section door ).

Hope that helped!

That's a main motor error, something could be jammed in transport, or a generic toner cart. that is too hard to turn, try powering on with toner removed...

Replaced toner with 3rd party toner and get error mewssage

most manufacturers these days have incorporated a chip on the replacement consumables to determine if it is a genuine xxx corporation cartridge...using 3rd party voids your warranty, resetting may not be possible under these conditions. check with manufacturer that sold replacement, I'm sure they have seen it before
