I'm going through the same thing and it's very annoying! I have taken the phone to my sprint provider and they tested the phone and said there was nothing wrong with it. It's only 4 mo. old and to new to be having these sort of issues. I have even bought a new battery and the same thing happens. I charge it overnight and by noon it needs to be recharged even if I don't use it. Please help!!!!!

I have the exact problem...battery dies after a few hours after being fully charged (even when the device is not in use). I also purchased a new battery but am having the same issue and now believe the problem lies with the phone itself. Please advise if anyone discovers a resolution. My phone is only 6 months old but I did not purchase a service plan.

    Thank you.

    I have the same problem.
It occurred the same time as my emails stopped coming through...
I have a feeling a setting has changed, and there is a constant process running in the background...
    any thoughts anyone?

Ive been having the same problem for 2 days! My phone used to last for 2-3 days without charging (at regular use) and all the sudden the battery dies within hours, I havent received (but CAN send) any data (emails) other than texts/bbms in 2 days and the hour glass is up a lot more. It also switchced from EDGE to GSM to GPRS very frequently. I tried rebooting twice and spoke with ATT for over an hour, then did not see anything wrong on their end! This morning when I woke up to a dying battery the phone was "Copying Address Book" with a white progress bar... never seen that before either! My device is 15 months old. Im wondering if I should try a new battery or just get a new device!

My Blackberry Pearl is doing similar stuff. It has this never ending hour glass spinning in the window all day, that constantly drains my battery like it's trying to load something. I had this problem before, but I let it drain the phone powerless, then re-charged and it went away, but it's happening again and that's not working anymore. What is this problem????

Well only the people that doesnt have internet or anything like that, you might need to do this.
1) go to Options.
2) go to Mobile Network
3) then where it says Data Services, it have to be turned off.
That happened to my phone and now is normal like before.

Battery completely drained after 45 mins of listening to cd player without car running,

a healthy battery will take a charge and discharge and be o k -you have several things going on-the ticking noise is some kinda rely that is turning on and off probably because of low voltage-the voltage jumping around sound like the alternator is giving up and is not fully charging battery-you may also have a drain on the battery that doesn't stop when you turn the key off like an extra power amp for the radio- you can take your car to autozone or advanced auto and they will check out the charging system for free and tell you what is going on-cheers Denny

1999 Toyota Tacoma battery keeps dying

This is easy to test but you need a multimeter. Connect the multimeter to the battery and run the engine at a fast idle (say 2000 rpm). You should get a voltage reading anywhere from 14 to 15 volts if the battery is fully charged and the alternator is working. If the reading is around 12 volts, then the alternator is not working.

My Blackberry curve 8320 won't turn on it just has a battery icon with a red line through it on screen. The icon stays on with the backlight until the battery dies, A new battery was tried and problem...

This usually means the bb and battery got a little wet or has other issues. Try these solutions in order. They go from easisest to hardest. NOTE: If you have an insurance policy on the bb probably best just to take it in.

1. Remove the back cover. Remove the battery and the SIM card. Wait 30 seconds. Replace SIM, battery and back cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

2. If that doesn't work, allow the bb to remain unplugged but ON for about 24 hours to drain the battery. Remove back cover and battery. Allow battery and opened bb to sit in a dry environment for 24 - 36 hours. Relace battery and cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

3. If that fails, try another battery (a friends or one from your cellstore) to see if tat's the problem. If so, (a) retry step 2 but allow battery to FULLY drain then dry out again, (b) buy a new battery for $60 retail or (c) buy a new battery on ebay for a lot less.

4. Take in.

2003 Kia Rio, died while driving, and wouldn't start back up.

Makes no sense. car would not die if a bolt fell out of the starter. It would die if the alternator was not charging and the battery went dead. Noise could be a belt has come off..You will have to give everything a good looking at and test a few things especially that the battery is fully charged. Any questions about what you find, I'm here!

I have questions for any ipod user

What is your problem? The ipod doesn't die. Believe it or not but there's a battery inside of the ipod that if you want it to be repaired. Don't send it to the apple company, they'll charge you a **** load to replace the battery. You can find an ipod battery $10-$30 easy on the net&the proper instructions on the net you can replace the battery yourself!
